DIRECTIONS

THANKS ANNETTE FOR WRITING THIS ALL OUT!

John and Anne's: Take the Eagle Rd. exit (There's a St. Luke's right there) and go about four miles to McMillan. Turn rt. on McMillan and go a mile. Turn rt. on Cloverdale. Take a left on Goldenrod (I think the first street). Go 1 1/2 blocks to Albany. They live across the street from the clubhouse.

Black Canyon: Take Eagle Rd. north about 6 miles from the freeway. Turn rt. on State St.(just before the Albertson's) and go to the second light. Turn left here at Horshoebend Road (Highway 55). Go to Horseshoe Bend and follow the signs to Emmett from there. We think the lake is about 15 miles. Parking is probably $3.00.Note: If you're coming from Net's or Pete's, you'll probably want to go a different way. (Through Emmett)

Ann Morrison Park: You can enter the park from Capital Blvd. or Americana. Vista Ave. turns into Capital or you can take Front St. to 9th which turns into Capital. To get to Americana, you can take Overland to Latah and down the hill or the connector to River St. and up Americana. We have not chosen a location to sit yet. There will pro-bably be a shuttle from the mall or something, but we're waiting on the Statesman for that info. Illegal fireworks to follow at Peter's house.

Kay and Jeff's: You can take Apple to Wright to Constitution or you can take Federal Way to Bergesen to Constitution. You should recognize the house.

Barber Park: From Kay's house, turn rt. on Wright, left on Law, rt. on Boise Ave. and left on Amity. (Man, I'm good!!!)

Peter and Amy's: There are several ways, but I think this is the mostdirect. Take Eagle Rd. to Chinden (Target is on theright and a Staples on the left.) Turn left on Chinden and left on Long Lake. (the light just past Linder Rd.). Turn rt. on Wolf Rapids.

Morris Hill Cemetary: You can take Overland to Latah or the connectorto the River St. exit and turn rt. on Americana.Go up the hill and turn left on Latah. Enter the cemetary across from the mortuary and go left at the "Y" in the road. You'll find us.

Net and Karl's: Talamore Dr. is off Blackcat Rd. between McMillanand Ustick. We are just two blocks north of the L.D.S. church.

BOATING AND JET SKIIS

Peter has gotten a second boat for us and will also be bringing his two jet skiis. The estimated fuel cost is going to be about $280 for the day. It's really hard to put a price tag on this for everyone. So it's going to kind of be the honor system. We want everyone to have a good time and get to play, but we don't want to leave Peter hanging with the cost either. So please plan on making a contribution to fuel costs.

SITTERS FOR KIDS TOO SMALL TO FLOAT THE RIVER

Nici, Molly, and Amy would like to offer to watch all the small children and babies that will not be able to participate in the Boise River Float. They will pick a place to play, could be at Amy's house, or the park where you pull out of the river. Either way, they will make plans and arrange rides to meet up with parents. They will have some fun activities, snacks, and crafts for the kids to do, and might even be able to squeeze in a nap! Please RSVP if you plan on taking them up on the offer, so they can start making a plan! Thanks...email Amy at heathamyr@gmail.com--

You Could be The Next Sorensen Idle....La La La

Okay its time to start thinking about your stellar Karaoke performance. For us amateurs, did you know there are websites where you can download your own Karaoke songs? Here is one link, but Betty, Heidi and I were able to do it off iTunes.

We look forward to hearing from ALL of you! Don't worry Simon, Paula, and Randy will not be there.

Where to Send Your Meal Money

We opened a bank account but do not want to post the info on the blog. Please send checks to Annette Christensen or Tamara DeMilt. A stamp is cheaper than gas these days. Try to get it to them by June 30. If for any reason you can't by that date, let us know. We really need to know who is coming. It makes a big difference for the meal planners as to how much money they can spend and how many people they need to feed. Please drop one of us an email to let us know you are coming.

Hello all, Amy Heath has successfully reserved the "hotel" on site for the weekend of the Family Reunion. No one has dibs on it yet, but it's first come first serve! They are in the Columbia Village apartments, right off I84. If any of you want double up and stay a couple of families, that's fine too. You can bring and roll out sleeping bags for kids if you want to. It's free, but it'll go fast, so be quick on the draw! Contact Amy at heathamyr@gmail.com if you're interested, and she'll let you know if anyone has already called it. Here's what it includes:Two bedrooms, two bath, two full size beds, fully furnished, tv / cable, scenic view off the balcony, fully loaded kitchen (minus food of course), washer / dryer, and we have access to the pool/hot tub, fitness center, and internet. We are right next to and within walking distance of a shopping center that includes, gas station, McDonalds, 3 Red Boxes, Albertsons, a bank, Subway, Perkins, Jack in the Box, and other small shops. I'm excited to see you all, and hope that this will help someone save some money.....(especially after the gas $ it takes you to get here)! See you soon! -- Heaths2547 E.
